Pan Coater
The PROCEPT Pan Coater is used for small to medium scale sugar, film or enteric coating of tablets, capsules, pellets or spheres. Depending on drum size, the typical batch range varies from 50g to 6kg of product.

PROCEPT’s modular 4M8-Trix design allows us to provide full flexibility towards integrating the equipment in your laboratory.
The PROCEPT Pan Coater
In many cases, one of the crucial steps in tablet development, is coating. The coating can have several functions. It can be used to strengthen the tablet, improve stability, control release, taste masking it, esthetic color, … It is normally integrated on a trolley, but can wall mounted, or on a fixed table/floor stand.

Touch screen PC control with real-time trending and excel data reporting. Water and organic solvents. Schlick nozzle system. System in negative pressure for operator and product safety. Easy filling and discharging and (in process) sampling of product. Stainless steel perforated drum: 350ml, 1/2/5/10 liters set-up. Full transparent plexi housing for good visibility. Critical process data such as temperatures, pressures and liquid/gas flows are handled by the control unit. DC motor with variable drive speed. Easy drum changes (no tools required). Unit can be used for pre-clinical and clinical applications.

Modularity
PROCEPT’s modular design allows us to provide full flexibility towards integrating the equipment in your laboratory. Various set-ups or even customized designs are possible. The Excel Control system and fanbox can be combined with other PROCEPT process modules (such as Fluid Bed and Spray Dryer) to save lab space and total investment costs. Extra processes can easily be added at a later point in time for a phased investment.
